On Wednesday 6th April, Swindon Sikh Seva completed their first effort of assisting those less fortunate and provided the homeless with a hot meal and other refreshments.

We set up by the Bridge Street underpass, the meal was prepared less than an hour before we began distributing. Volunteers visited areas of town to inform the homeless that a hot meal was being provided.

Despite the very short notice, we were able to offer more meals to more than 30 people and they were welcomed by those who visited.

Swindon Sikh Seva will be setting up again this coming Wednesday at approximately 7pm at the same location should anyone wish to join us. If anyone does require any further information then please contact info@swindonsikhseva.org.
